It is my sheer bliss to assume the privileged
position of Vice-Chancellor Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering,
Science and Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah, the platform where I started
my career, and it is the institute from where I graduated in 1986. I am
highly indebted to Allah the Almighty for his continued blessings on me.
Additionally, I am always grateful to all my colleagues for supporting
me in this crucial role.
The QUEST is a recognized institute across the globe, and its graduates
are contributing their endeavors successfully and positively towards
developing the socio-economic development of academic institutes on both
the national and international level.
The Quaid-e-Awam University is Pakistan´s one of
the leading public-sector universities which is committed to solving
the diverse challenges we face today. Our University provides a platform
to bring together promising minds to serve the world. For achieving
this, we provide the right balance of faculty, services, technology, and
cultures to encourage both learners and teachers to develop, explore
and discover new ideas. Our dream is to make our university the
country´s best educational institution.
The QUEST is expanding its global reach to provide more
opportunities and exposures for collaboration. In this regard, the
Several MOUs have been signed with some renowned universities of
different countries such as the USA, Turkey, Malaysia, Thailand, China,
Indonesia, and Germany. Our university is equipped with state-of-the-art
equipment, library, and other facilities in order to achieve an
academic excellence and meet international academic standards.
In QUEST, all stakeholders, such as educators,
administrators, students, and employees are working as a team with
ownership attitude in the ongoing process of erecting their
university´s academic standards. I truly appreciate and accept
my team members´ tremendous cooperation.
We strive to take place in a free, peaceful, and a
balanced environment. We believe that cultivating good ideals of
morality, integrity, fairness, and respect for each other is
indispensable for the studies. We also believe that young people should
have a role in defining their destinies.
We help them to explore
their abilities, plan for their future, and make an immediate impact at
their work. Pakistan´s high youth population and their energy
provides to us a wonderful opportunity to play a role in inspiring the
country´s youth to be passionate and courageous to provide
vital services to society.
To this end, I urge all our stakeholders to play their roles
collectively in a strong academic standard of this university with their
utmost dedication. Together, we will make it as one of the top
universities in the world.
